Replacement and fitting of built-in roller blinds in the Szemud municipality

The municipality of Szemud is dominated by detached housing — older houses from the 1990s, buildings extended in stages, and new developments springing up on the outskirts of the town. These are two different installation scenarios. In newer houses, where space has been set aside above the window during the construction phase, a top-mounted window box works well, fitted either alongside the joinery or within a prepared lintel.

What is the process for installing external roller shutters in Szemud?

We start with measurements — the journey from Kochanów in the municipality of Luzino is about 19 km, so we usually arrange an appointment within a few days. Once there, we measure the openings, check the type of door frame, the condition of the façade and the feasibility of installing a power supply, if the roller shutters are to be electric.

Once the measurements have been taken, we prepare a quotation and, once it has been approved, we place a order for the specific dimensions, colours and drive type. Once the components are ready, we arrange installation: we position the guides, fit the box (either surface-mounted or top-mounted), install the armour, and adjust the limit switches and tension.

Finally, final inspection — we check that the roller blinds operate correctly over their full range of movement, set up the controls and demonstrate how to use them and the maintenance guidelines.
